Red Flats Retrievers is owned and operated by Josh Lancaster. Josh has a long history in dog training, and specializes in training gun dogs for waterfowl and upland hunting. Josh believes that Red Flats Retrievers is a ministry and his mission strives to connect folks with great dogs that will become more than just a dog—they will become family. Josh is an avid hunter and his expertise gives him a deep insight into what makes a great gun dog. That said, Josh is the kind of person you meet once and call a friend. His love of dogs is surpassed by his love for people and service.
Josh personally trains each of his client's dogs. Whether that be a puppy you purchase from him, a dog from a different breeder or an adult dog, Josh will customize a training plan to your desires, a rare thing in today's plug and play world of dog training. This personalized approach separates Red Flats Retrievers from the pack. Josh also offers training for non-sporting breeds upon consultation.

Puppy Head Start:
We offer two stages of puppy headstart training. Obedience & Gun Dog
Gun Dog:
Between eight and twelve weeks, you'll want to spark that innate desire to locate and retrieve.
Breeding:
Our Labrador retrievers are bred with excellent pedigrees, which by nature gives them personality, trainability, and drive.
